PUBLIC TRANSPORT OPTIONS?
Bus: The Arriva 401 bus route stops at our main gates as well as other stops in Carlton village.
Train: Selby station and Goole station are a 15minute drive away. York station is a 40minute drive away.
Taxi: There are many local taxi companies available. We can provide some suggestions if needed.
ARE YOU OPEN TO THE PUBLIC?
We are only open to the public when we have an event on or you book an appointment with us. Outside of these, Carlton Towers is closed to the public.
Carlton towers parking
For appointments, please drive through the main gates and park on the gravel at the front. For our Stables Tearoom we have some spaces available opposite the tearoom including disabled parking, as well as parking in the field to the side of the house. Event parking will vary dependant on each event.
Dog policy
Our dog policy is subject to each event. We will state within our event information if dogs can attend. We ask that dogs are kept on leads at all times. Our Stables tearoom allows dogs and assistance dogs are welcome to all events.

As Carlton Towers dates back to 1614, it presents some issues in regards to access. There is no lift and there are steps up to the main entrance as well as up to the bedrooms. The tearoom has disabled parking and ramped access into the entrance.
Payment Types
We accept cash and card payments. We don’t accept cheques. We accept all major credits cards as well as PayPal.
stables tearoom
Our Stables tearoom is open every Friday to Sunday 10:00am - 16:00pm. The tearoom sells an array of homemade bakes and tasty treats. Please use the tearoom entrance opposite the Odddfellows pub.
