For decades, Carlton Towers has been a much sought-after venue for film, music and TV producers. Its authenticity and dramatic backdrops are only enhanced by its ease of access – by road rail and air.
Carlton Towers’ epic stature has been an eye-catching stand-in for Windsor Castle in the acclaimed ITV series Victoria. In the 1988 feature film A Handful of Dust by Evelyn Waugh, the house was used as the main location. Other apppearances include Bollywood blockbusters, the prime-time BBC series MasterChef and iconic English classic The Darling Buds of May.
